The Geisha… which means “Arts person” or “one trained in arts.” (Note that the definition is non gender specific because the first geishas were all men.) Beautiful graceful perfection in motion. Every gesture every glance loaded with meaning and steeped in tradition. Welcome to the Flower and Willow World. Isn’t that a beautiful name for a subculture of Japanese society born out of the red light districts and elevated to high art?
So you’ve mastered your curtseys, and trained your voice, you can walk in the steepest high heels imaginable, and corsetry is something you do everyday, like religion. Well done. Now what?

The quite logical step is one that puts you in a kimono to learn the art of the Geisha. In japan the Geisha enter into school to learn their skills at 15. At this tender age they are called Maiko..and the skills they learn are varied, difficult and sometimes painful. They are also seductive, delicate and completely mesmerizing. The make up, the hair, the adornment, fans and silk. Ultra femme to the point of doll making.
It takes years to become a Geisha, but that doesn’t mean a sissy cant glean something from watching a beautiful Geisha plying her skills. Each act performed by a Geisha is elaborate, detailed, precise. The twist of a wrist, the roll of the shoulder. The placement of a foot. Imagine being that self aware to allow oneself to be drawn so deeply into Feminine mindset that you can contrive to create the perfect illusion of submissive female composure. It’s time to put on your cute little plaid skirt and white blouse and grab a notebook because your House of Sissify is sending you back to school!
Today in school you will learn many things. You might even surprise yourself. But first you must promise to follow the rules. You must make sure to have your school supplies and be prepared for the upcoming classes if you want to pass. This is no school for the lazy lass. We expect our girls to be at the top of the class and graduate with honors.
School Rules
| 1. | One must not indulge in inappropriate behavior. If it is not your special day, keep your hands off! | |
| 2. | You must be cleanly shaved and freshly bathed. | |
| 3. | Proper dress is a must. | |
| Acceptable: plaid skirt and white blouse, maid’s uniform, teddy with garter and stockings, or corset with brassiere, stockings, and panty or thong. High heels are required for all outfits. | ||
| Unacceptable: male attire, jeans, frumpy dresses, business suits, tennis shoes or fluffy slippers, heels lower than three inches, and cigarettes dangling from lips. | ||
| 4. | No alcohol, illicit drug use, French fries (messy messy!) or the like, gum chewing, tobacco use, or foul language. | |
| 5. | Obedience to your Superiors in word, thought and deed. | |
